Farm solar panels across Oxfordshire
We survey farm and agricultural building roofs throughout Oxfordshire, model what each one can carry, and arrange the design, the grid application and the install through our MCS-certified partner.

What the data says about Oxfordshire
Modelled yield is not flat across Oxfordshire. Didcot comes out at 913 kWh per kWp a year against 891 at Thame, a spread of 22 kWh per kWp. On a 200 kWp farm array that difference is about 4,400 kWh a year, which is worth checking before accepting a generic saving figure.
Across the districts we cover in Oxfordshire the planning record lists 7 ground mounted and 17 roof mounted solar schemes. Ground mounted schemes tell you how the network here has treated field arrays; roof mounted ones are undercounted, because an array on a farm building rarely passes the reporting threshold. Connections across the county run through Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks. Anything above 3.68 kW per phase needs a G99 application, and on rural feeders the incoming supply is often the real limit: a single phase supply caps the array whatever the roof would carry.
